Many blacks are coming out against (pun intended) links drawn between the civil rights movement and that of the gay rights movement following last week's Supreme Court ruling.

A poll released by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press (search) on Nov. 18, the day of the ruling, indicated 60 percent of blacks opposed gay marriage.

Who would have thought?--well, aside from all those supporting the traditional family lifestyle.
