No new terrorist doctrine

More on the Saudi Arabia bombing.
The choice of the al Muhaya compound came as a surprise to counterterrorism officials. The compound houses almost exclusively, Arab and Muslim workers from outside Saudi Arabia. The dead include seven Lebanese, four Egyptians, one Saudi and one Sudanese.
A surprise? As I said in my last post, "it is well known in fundamentalist circles that Islamic 'traitors'--those who side with the West--are hated just as much as, if not more than, Westerners themselves."
Either counterterrorism officials aren't doing their homework, or the news report is wrong. I think it's the latter.
