Several national news organizations defeated an attempt by Ohio Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell to prohibit exit polling within 100 feet of polling places.
The ruling from U.S. District Court Judge Michael Watson granted a temporary restraining order that prevents Blackwell from blocking exit polling. The legal challenge was brought by ABC, CNN, CBS NBC, Fox News and the Associated Press.
